4 Quirky Birds specialises in handmade quality gifts and apparel using vibrant, ethically produced fabric from South Africa called Shwe Shwe.
The fabric is not only fun, it's bold, it's colourful and it is beautiful.
It is steeped in history and tradition and is a strong symbol of South African heritage.
What do we do?
We make things.
Well thought out, practical, beautifully handmade products from bags to aprons, cushion covers, placemats, face masks, Creative Caddies, and more.

Why do we do it?
We want to make a difference in the world and combine the thing we love doing ... sewing !!
We use Shwe Shwe as it is ethically produced in the Eastern Cape in South Africa, thus supporting a community on cotton grown in the nearby area, which ensures local jobs.
